
Toshiba launched the new SS RX2 Series notebook. There are seven of them - T9GG, T9G, T8GG, T8G, T7GG, T7G, S7G and models. All of them driven by a 1.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor SU9300, an Intel chipset GS45 Express, and a 2 GB of main memory (up to 3 GB of support). They are also equipped with a 12.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) screen, WiFi connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, E-Sata port, a DVD recorder, SD / SDHC media card reader and a fingerprint sensor to improve data security.
So what's the difference? Well, the first two models (T9GG and T9G) is packed with a solid-state drive 128 GB, while the rest of the sports 160 GB hard drive. Three of them (T8G, T7G and S7G) will be released Sept. 20, while the other laptops will be available in November.
