Sony Blu-Ray Laptop


Sony introduced what it claims is the slightest piece of the world with Blu-ray laptop board.The about 1.3 kilograms Vaio TT is only an inch thick, but in a package of 1.2 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU or SU9300 SU9400 1.4GHz, 2GB DDR memory 3, and a 160GB hard drive or a pair of raids 128GB solid state drives.


The TT sports a white LED-backlit 11.1in, 1366 x 768 display driven by Intel GMA 4500 HD graphics core integrated on the chip GS45.

All come with the PT 802.11ne Bluetooth 2.0 - the latter with A2DP stereo wirelessly. The books have a pair of USB 2.0 ports, one four-pin FireWire connector, an ExpressCard 34 bay, and MemoryStick Pro and SD slots.

Everyone has an HDMI slot to show movies in a BD Full HD TV.

U.S. prices range from $ 2095 (£ 1140 / € 1434) to $ 4345 (£ 2365 / € 2974) - ouch - both for the model with Blu-ray and everything that the SSD storage. Drop the SSDs but maintain the BD burner and the price drops another friendly pocket $ 2700 (£ 1469 / € 1848), said Sony.

The colors that are offered include "premium black smoke," "black silk," "champagne gold" and "crimson red." The range goes on sale in the TT later this fall. No word yet on the line's European debut.
